This role involves managing sales activities, building client relationships, and overseeing vendor management to ensure service excellence.Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Management: Manage an assigned geographical sales area to maximize sales revenue and meet team and personal sales targets.
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve commercial processes.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
• New Business Development: Identify and engage with new business prospects, presenting and selling services to expand the company\'s market presence.
• Vendor Management: Broaden the network of reliable and competitive freight forwarders, carriers, and other transport providers, ensuring they meet company and customer requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Key Account Management team to handle quotations, source services and rates, and manage P&L for various freight services.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track service performance of vendors, addressing any service failures, issues, disputes, and claims.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements with competitive rates, reasonable response times, and valid service periods.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Skills:

• Strong understanding of freight and project forwarding.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful commercial strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
