An upcoming luxury lifestyle hotel is seeking a Director of Marketing (Luxury/Lifestyle) to join their pre-opening team. This job is based in Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia. About the Director of Marketing (Luxury/Lifestyle) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for the pre-opening and operating commercial functions of this vibrantly designed lifestyle hotel located in the key location within the golden triangle in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the marketing direction and branding of the hotel
  • Oversee and direct all aspects of the hotel\'s marketing and sales activities including rooms, restaurants and bars, working closely with the Director of Sales to drive the business
  • Develop launch strategies and marketing plans, across digital, PR, content development, channels and social media
  • Manage the S&M expenses of the business
To succeed in this Director of Marketing (Luxury/Lifestyle) job, you will need to be creative with strong business acumen in branding the new hotel. Key Requirements:
  • Relevant marketing background with the ability to develop and execute winning commercial strategies
  • Flexible, willing to work smart, get along well with others
  • Knowledge and experience in PR and Communication is an advantage
  • Ability to build a brand through story-telling and lead a creative team to achieve business goals
