Minimum possesses a Diploma/Degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in event planning and coordination.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
Responsibilities
Plan and oversee all facets of events, which encompass venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment rental, entertainment, and decorations.
Formulate and manage event budgets, engage in negotiations with vendors, and ensure that all expenditures align with budgetary limits.
Create event schedules, checklists, and agendas to guarantee timely and high-quality completion of all tasks.
Collaborate with the marketing and business development team to devise event promotional strategies and outreach efforts aimed at attracting participants.
Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to fulfill their requirements and ensure a positive event experience.
Engage with guests and provide customer service both prior to and during events, as well as afterward. Assess the success of events and offer recommendations for enhancing future ones.
