Job Description


:Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the administration, analyse, and ensure that the routine maintenance was carried out as per program and specification.
  • Manage and control routine maintenance schedule at mainline and facilities within section.
  • Conduct regular meeting, refreshing briefing and training with subordinates and contractors in ensuring that all specifications and policies were complied.
  • Analyse and monitor the performance routine maintenance contractors.
  • Advise HOS on any non-performance for close monitoring.
  • Conduct random inspection at site and submit the finding to HOS for further improvement of all routine maintenance works is in accordance with OSH requirement.
  • Report any activities and matters that involved within the section\'s based on condition of contract.
  • Represent the management in dealing with the client, local authorities, sub-contractors and generate good rapport with the surrounding neighbours at dedicated section.
  • Troubleshoot, analyse and check at all areas within the section and maintenance responsibility.
  • Appraise and evaluate the quality, status with effectiveness of client satisfaction.
  • Manage and control any contra flow as and when required during traffic congestion or major disaster.
  • Planning, prepare, analyse, and control annual budget and revenue, within budget allocated and meet revenue target.
  • Formulate and implement heavy repair/upgrading/repair and replacement works according to BQ, stipulated time frame and specification.
  • Execute safety and quality according to company\'s policy, mission, and vision by coordinating and controlling the implementation of safety (OSHA) and quality (ISO) to all works at section as well as advice and consult subordinates and contractors to comply according to the procedures and regulation according to the safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway maintenance or related industry, with a focus on mechanical and electrical operations.
  • Proven experience in leadership and management roles, with demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team.
  • Experience in analyzing contractor performance and implementing improvements.
