Job Description

/ Responsibilities:

Export Operations

Handle sea freight operations, including FCL and LCL shipments. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and agents for bookings, documentation, and shipment requirements. Negotiate freight rates, secure space with carriers/vendors, and manage cost efficiency. Provide quotations and shipping rates to customers and overseas branches.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and verify export documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with Malaysia and Singapore export/import regulations and company shipping instructions. Work closely with the Finance team to confirm payment receipt before cargo release.

Customer & Internal Coordination

Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment flow. Manage customer and internal escalations promptly with effective service recovery. Maintain strong relationships with key customers and provide timely shipment updates and tracking information.

Reporting & Administration

Prepare billing, invoicing, and close job files upon shipment completion. Maintain accurate shipment, cost, and inventory records. Prepare purchase orders for procurement items as needed. Perform general administrative duties and support management reporting requirements. Demonstrate strong multitasking skills with a positive, service oriented and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant working experience in export or shipping preferred. Good communication and coordination skills with high attention to detail. Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Positive, responsible, service oriented and a strong team player. Familiarity with freight booking, customs documentation, or shipping software will be an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
