JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE.

To provide financial planning, control, stewardship to Malaysia Nutrition business and act as business partner in ensuring all commercial activities and objectives are maximised and delivered.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring management and control plan sales and division margin for the affiliate in support of the Finance Director.
• Responsible for a comprehensive set of controllership activities including financial control, financial planning, financial reporting, financial analysis and cash flow for the division.
• Track and monitor actual sales and margin performance. Prepare commentary and take timely action to address variances/operating issues.
• Manage, report and control operational finance functions including CDOH and Inventory.
• Manage and control department expenses and ensure that month end process and accounting entries are accurately reflected.
• Establish and maintain internal process, procedures and controls which ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and forecasts; avoid errors and surprises
• Prepare Plan, RLBE\xe2\x80\x99s and all other Area / Affiliate request review and critically assess assumptions for reasonableness
• Proactively support commercial team with analytical support on all KPI and critical operation issues such as distributor contracts, tenders, pricing, gross-to-net and parallel imports.
• Participate in ANI initiatives for enhancement of business processes, margin & profit improvement initiatives and financial effectiveness.
• Participate in management reviews and affiliate compliance committee.
• Support Finance Director with day to day finance activities as assigned.
• Participate in key customers\xe2\x80\x99 and distributors\xe2\x80\x99 reviews and assess credit-worthiness especially new accounts.
• Ensure divisional and affiliate adherence to all local / Corporate financial and OEC policies and procedures.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics)
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA and similar post graduate education
• Minimum 10 - 15 years experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success.
• Good understanding and knowledge of cultural, political and economic environments and health care systems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and to complete objectives utilizing the commitment and cooperation of others.
• Demonstrated managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions.
• Analytical skills to digest and quickly grasp large amount of data and to recognize key issues / opportunities and act accordingly.
• Ability to work successfully within a matrix organization and negotiate and prioritize requirements with management, both regional and domestic.
