To report punctually (15mins before shift start) wearing the correct hotel uniform and name tag at all times.
To provide a courteous and professional service at all service.
To maintain an atmosphere of tranquility at the gym.
To attend to all guests who approach the gym counter, immediately, cordially and with a smile.
Responds immediately and follow up to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
To maintain the cleanliness of the male gym, female gym, locker rooms, washroom, shower room, outdoor gym deck at all times.
To maintains supplies neat and organized to department standards.
To ensure all gym equipment in good condition (maintenance/cleanliness/monthly service).
To conduct "gym classes" whenever possible to all internal and external guest. (exp: Yoga / Tabata / Zumba / Abbs core and others)
To record down guest details in gym log book when guest utilize the gym service.
To offer and issue out locker key and to record down in the key book for guest that require the service.
To assist guest who require help or advise on how to use the gym equipment.
To assist/guide guest that need assistance on best practice of gym workout.
To answer the telephone promptly and clearly, ensuring a courteous and friendly manner.
To have a sound knowledge of the company's Marketing Programs and Promotions.
To keep the daily hand over book up-to-date and the correct follow up is done.
Be aware of all hotel services and facilities.
To attend internal and external training conducted by section leaders when needed.
To complete a minimum of 5 hours department training in a month.
To be able to do multitasking in various FO sections.
To assist guest with buggy service within PLC when required.
Cross train in various departments to help other front office departments when the need arises.
Recognize VIP's and PLC 's officers.
To have a complete understanding of the hotels' staff policies and adhere to the regulations it stipulates.
Be aware of Health and Safety issues at all times. Carry out other duties that may from time to time be asked of you by the management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Certification in fitness, personal training, or first aid/CPR is an advantage.
Previous experience in a gym, fitness center, or customer-service role preferred.
Basic knowledge of gym equipment, exercise techniques, and safety practices.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to demonstrate proper equipment use and assist members safely.
Strong customer-service orientation with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym area.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform equipment setup, cleaning, and light lifting.
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
