The HR Supervisor (Foreign Worker) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of foreign worker management, ensuring full compliance with government regulations and company policies. This includes handling recruitment, permit renewals, accommodation, welfare, and disciplinary matters related to foreign employees. The role also involves coordinating with various government agencies and ensuring smooth workforce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end process for foreign worker recruitment, including quota application, permit renewals, and repatriation.
Liaise with government bodies such as
JTK, Immigration, KDN, HRD Corp, and embassies
regarding related matters.
Ensure all foreign worker documentation (passports, permits, medical check-ups, insurance, etc.) are valid and updated.
Maintain and update employee database and records accurately.
Supervise hostel management, ensuring proper living conditions and compliance with local authority standards.
Handle attendance, disciplinary issues, and grievances among foreign workers.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure sufficient manpower for operations.
Prepare reports and documentation related to foreign worker activities, costs, and movement.
Manage foreign worker hostel according to Akta 446.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.
Lead and support HR team members in daily HR operations as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
At least 1
-3 years of experience
in HR, specifically in managing foreign workers.
Strong knowledge of
Immigration procedures, Labour Law, and KDN regulations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills (Malay and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR-related systems.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
