The HR Supervisor - Foreign Worker Management is responsible for overseeing all human resources matters related to foreign workers. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies while managing recruitment, onboarding, welfare, and administration of foreign employees. The HR Supervisor will also guide junior HR staff and act as a key liaison with government authorities, agencies, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all HR processes related to foreign workers, including recruitment, contracts, renewals, and termination
Handle work permits, visas, levies, insurance, and other immigration-related documentation
Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, immigration rules, and company policies
Coordinate with government departments, embassies, recruitment agencies, and medical centers
Oversee onboarding, orientation, and accommodation arrangements for foreign workers
Monitor attendance, discipline, welfare, and grievance matters involving foreign workers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR reports
Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks by authorities
Train and supervise HR officers or administrative staff
Advise management on foreign worker policies, risks, and workforce planning
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum
3-5 years of HR experience
, with at least
2 years handling foreign workers
Experience dealing with work permits, visas, and labor compliance
Strong knowledge of labor laws and immigration regulations related to foreign workers
Good leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive issues professionally and confidentially
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Responsible, firm, and fair in handling employee matters
Able to work independently and under pressure
Problem-solving mindset with good judgment
