Job Description

As an Internal Communications Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling visual content to support internal communications initiatives within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging videos, one-pagers, and creative PowerPoint decks that effectively convey important messages and information to our employees. This role requires a combination of design expertise, creativity, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Content Creation:

• Develop creative and visually appealing videos that communicate key messages, company updates, and other internal content.
• Design one-pagers that condense complex information into easy-to-understand, visually appealing documents.
• Create eye-catching and informative PowerPoint decks for presentations, town halls, and internal events.

Content Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with the internal communications team and various departments to understand their content needs and objectives.
• Translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling designs that align with the company\'s brand and messaging.

Storyboarding and Scripting:

• Develop storyboards and scripts for videos to outline the visual and narrative elements.
• Ensure the content is engaging, clear, and aligns with the intended message.

Multimedia Production:

• Use graphic design tools, video editing software, and other multimedia applications to produce high-quality visual content.
• Incorporate animations, graphics, and other elements to enhance video and presentation quality.

Design Consistency:

• Maintain and uphold brand guidelines to ensure consistency in design across all internal communications materials.
• Keep updated with industry design trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of content.

Review and Feedback:

• Seek feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to improve the effectiveness of visual materials.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with communication objectives.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintain organized files and assets for future reference and updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in graphic design, video production, and multimedia content creation.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives for videos.
• Excellent understanding of visual communication principles and design aesthetics.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with corporate branding and messaging.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Understanding of internal communication strategies and best practices.
