• Functional e-commerce style store with features such as e-auction, A.I price setting & integration to logistics & warehouse partners.
• Large MNC clients using the platform and 10s of Millions of units sold on the platform already.
• Product market fit established, launched in 3 SE Asia countries and recent new (Q2 2023) funding

Project

• Lead and grow remote engineering teams sat in India, Malaysia and Vietnam. (currently 10 - want to expand to 15)
• Work on the scalability and reliability of the core product as they look to expand into new markets.
• Work with the recently hired head of product to roll out new features and customise existing to the new markets.

Must Have

• Node.JS
• JavaScript (Angular / React / Vue)
• Leadership (5+ years)
• Must have worked in a start up culture before (things change, new features, product, markets) Must be okay to wear multiple hats.

Nice to have

• Marketplace / E-com / DTC / B2B / Enterprise solutions to MNCs
• Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure etc)
• Leading remote teams / leading teams in different countries
• Architecture
• Start up exits / Co-founded tech companies
• Experienced with MVP / Pilot / Validation / Roll out of features & products

Level / Grade

• This role reports to the co-founder (CTO) and leads the engineering function independently. Expected to have 10+ years experience.

Location

• 100% remote work, based in Malaysian. Must be ok to travel to other regions (SG / VT / India) 1-2 days per month / per 2 months.
• The engineers in VT & India work hybrid from office (legal entity established) - Leadership in Malaysia and SG.
