About Our Client

Our client is a fast growing Global Manufacturing Organisation with a global reach across the APAC Region. They are a proud, progressive organisation that is expanding rapidly and is fast becoming an employer of choice. They are currently looking for an innovative Manager, Learning & Development.

  • Developing global processes to identify and develop leadership and key talent encompassing high performers and high potentials
  • Identifying and guiding employee development curriculum through various career paths through on-the-job experiential learning, networking and formal learning programs
  • Partner with the local HR Team, business leaders and Asia Talent Management team and to assess learning needs based on market set skill levels and business goals to design and implement a holistic talent development strategy.
  • Partner with the local HR Team, Asia Talent Management team and the wider enterprise to deliver talent management and development initiatives locally.
  • Provide thought leadership by being part of program development team on global learning and talent management programs and initiatives.
  • Support roll out of global learning & development and talent management projects and initiatives.
  • Act as an internal consultant and work with business leaders and HRBP on employee and leadership learning issues, source and recommend appropriate learning solutions or resources, maintain a current knowledge of statutory requirements & local L&OD landscape and develop creative and innovative learning programs.
  • Facilitate leadership programs based on local needs.
  • Work with shared services to manage all learning operations related activities e.g updating learning records and post evaluation of learning programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 8-10 years of learning & development and talent management experience or related experience.
  • Experience working in multinational corporation.
  • A proven track record of training program development and management. Experience in needs analysis, designing, delivering, and measuring impact of learning to business.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and skilled in instructional design methodology e.g ADDIE.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Viewed as a trusted advisor with a successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to influence others by asking questions with curiosity and provide recommendations using expertise.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with HR network involving local HRBPs and Corporate COEs, as well as business stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous and attention to detail.
