One of the leading and reputable conglomerates with diversified business areas and operations is currently recruiting a Manager, Legal. In this job, you will join their dynamic legal team based in their Kuala Lumpur HQ. About the Manager, Legal Role:
Reporting to the Group Head of Legal and in this vital role, you will be responsible for rendering all range of legal advice and support to the group and management pertaining to a wide range of legal, contractual and/or operational matters as well as ensuring the continuous growth of the legal team and company. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, drafting, reviewing and/or advising on various agreements and other transactional documents, especially relating to lending/credit arrangements
• Managing and rendering advice and support on various legal and compliance matters
• Providing timely and accurate reporting of the business and operations under the portfolio
• Liaising, coordinating and working with external parties such as lawyers and/or other advisers on numerous matters under the portfolio
• Observing and always complying with all acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations pertaining to and/or affecting the company\xe2\x80\x99s business and be conversant with all statutory updates (where required) as may be introduced thereto
• Performing other duties, which may be assigned/directed by Group Head of Legal, as and when required

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with both the internal and external stakeholders, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements:

• Degree holder with a minimum of five to eight years of relevant legal experience. Having experience working in a financial institution/finance services practice group is an added advantage
• Able to manage sensitive and confidential information with care and integrity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, meticulous, and possesses good systematic thinking and able to focus on major business issues
