Job Description


Job Purpose (Job Summary)To oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. As the Warehouse & Logistics Head, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory control, streamlining logistical processes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, effective communication with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy.Job Location: Office is at Sabak Bernam, Selangor (HQ Office) (30 mins drive from Sekinchan)Authority Coverage:
Direct reports: Senior Executive, Warehouse & Logistic (2 pax)
Indirect reports: Warehouse Assistant (4 pax) & Drivers (6 pax) * Plan, coordinate, and monitor warehousing and logistic operations.

  • Develop, implement and continually improve logistic and warehouse operating procedure and efficiency of workers.
  • Recommend improvement plans to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain and increase Company profitability.
  • Collaborate with inter-department to resolve operational difficulties, challenges or complaint.
  • Liaise and coordinate with transporters on the transportation, shipping, and delivery activities to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
  • Manage all aspects of the stock delivery processes, including scheduling, routing, tracking shipments and also handling full set of shipping documentation.
  • Assist or carry out any other duties as and when assigned by superior.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Retail Management, Warehouse or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of working experience in the same field (Warehouse / Inventory & Logistics / Transportation) with at least 3 years in the leadership role and experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
  • Good in spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all level.
  • Strong data analytical skills and ability to show effective leadership to solve problems and set priorities.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office tools / application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
