As the Managing Director, you will be reporting to the Group Director and will have full P&L responsibilities of the manufacturing facility besides developing a strategy roadmap and executing the organization\'s business plan to ensure the overall success and growth of the business.As the Managing Director, you will be reporting to the Group Director and will have full P&L responsibilities of the manufacturing facility besides developing a strategy roadmap and executing the organization\'s business plan to ensure the overall success and growth of the business. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below:

• Holding full P&L responsibility & Annual Budget preparation and overseeing other departments like Sales, Production, Finance, HR etc
• Setting business strategies (short & long term), Budget Plan and responsible for overall business performance (Market Share, Sales, Profits)
• Being involved in driving new business opportunities, market expansion while observing the change in business trend/competitor landscape
• Responsible for the assessment and effectiveness of all processes
• Planning, coordinating, directing and supervising the entire day-to-day plant operations and ensure maximum performance
• Provide strategic advice to the corporate office and senior management so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company\'s future
• Ensure strict compliance to legal guidelines and in-house policies
• Maintain trusting relationships with customers, business partners and authorities
• Analyse and execute action plan for continuous improvements/change management.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Master\'s Degree, or Professional Degree
• At least 15 years of relevant experience with at least 3-5 years of general management experience, managing P&L (preferably someone who has managed a chemical manufacturing business)
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
• Demonstrated experience in achieving operational efficiency, meeting sales objectives, and reaching profitability milestones
• Excellent organisational, communication & interpersonal skills
• Active leadership skills, good team player and able to be hands on whenever needed to
• Open to be based in Ipoh
