Requirements:

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to succeed:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Data Science, Information Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in ERP operations and master data administration and database management in manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices.
• Demonstrable experience leading process change and exposure to process improvement methodologies with Lean Six sigma Green or Black belt is an advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing ERP master data, SFDC, M365, BI and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical background, meticulous and has data-driven mindset with high attention to details and pragmatism.
• Proactive, takes initiative and able to multitask to meet tight deadlines.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality and ethics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good spoken and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia or Vietnamese language will be an added advantage when liaising with stakeholders in different countries.
• Candidate must be willing to be based at HQ, Shah Alam.

As part of the ERP and Application Support team, the Master Data Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing the initial setup of various systems, establishing a standardized methodology for reporting, and overseeing the administration of company databases. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the secure storage of information, with access limited to authorized personnel, thereby contributing to the overall integrity and reliability of our data infrastructure.

You are driven to:

• Manage the Group master data projects and lead the initial setup and configuration of different systems to ensure a uniform methodology of reporting and administration of company databases.
• Establish and enforce a standardized methodology for reporting to enhance consistency and accuracy in data representation.
• Oversee the administration of company databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and adherence to data governance policies.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive information, allowing access only to authorized individuals. Monitor and ensure proper approval and validation for master data changes and creation are authorised per core model.
• Develop and implement processes for maintaining data integrity, conducting regular audits, and ensuring high-quality data across systems.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve any data-related issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data-related processes, configurations, and security protocols.
• Perform master data maintenance and validation to ensure approval of master data duly authorised and in compliance.
