We will count on you to:

Client work
  • Recognized by the client/prospect for their knowledge, technical competencies and professionalism in driving delivery of the GBM services locally.
  • Provide consultative broking expertise to the client as it applies to the GBM services.
Benefits strategy management
  • Understands the clients\' benefits philosophy and Rules of the Road to support implementations and clearly communicate to all areas working with the client (Account executives, Placement, Operations, Consulting etc)
Operational management
  • Facilitate and coordinate with Local Network specialist GBM implementations. Implement scope of service/contracting, benefit administration and GBM technology (Darwin, GBM Analytics (GBMA) and MercerGOLD+ (MG+)
  • Review Global KPIs and dashboard results to improve country performance. Present action plans to improve service perception and results (if overall country performance score is 3 or below).
  • Act as customer service and performance escalation point.
  • Align with Global team members to support with Darwin implementations in Country.
Business development
  • Support and contribute to the local sales process including building local sales proposals (pricing and scope of services) and participating in local meetings to on - board GBM relationships. Owns expansion opportunities within GBM.
  • Review and monitor existing GBM accounts with possible local appointment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to grow and strengthen client relationships (new services, conference invitations, information on new products and solution etc)
  • Up and cross sell products and services (inlcuding coordination with Marsh, Mercer and other Line of Business).
  • Maintain reconciliation of commissions earned and/or fees invoices againts compensation arrangements agreed upon for each client. Transparent communication with client on commissions.
  • Collaborate closely with insurers and other insurance brokerage related vendors, as needed to address and meet clients\' needs and requirements.
Stakeholder management
  • Actively engages with stakeholders within MMB Global network and the wider MMC organisation to advocate and advise on MMB Multinational.
  • Acts as a point of technical knowledge and reference.
  • Owns client satisfaction.
Innovation
  • Actively seeks growth and development opportunities for clients.
  • Aware of competitor landscape.
  • Applies innovative techniques to client management.
People development
  • Act as a coach and mentor to junior team members.
  • Act as team lead to support People Management and HR.
  • Identify training needs as training coordinator and ensure that Local Network specialist receive formal training courses on GBM processes and tools (under a Train the Trainer approach).
  • Plan the work, being available for discussing different solutions, assisting in meetings with clients or insurers, peer reviewing and other normal surveillance work.
  • Workload and client assignment definition.
Strategic management
  • Develop and apply new strategies to client journeys with a focus on growth and retention.
What you need to have:
  • Bachelors degree education with more than 8 years of experience or 10 years of equivalent education/work experience.
  • Regional and level appropriate learning/certification (e.g UK - IEBA, US - Global SHRM, CEB, IFEB coursework) licensing where required by local regulations.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of benefits and insurance markets.
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically.
  • Voluntarily and active participation in various projects outside of specific responsibilities to support business or organizationl needs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated diplomacy and client management.
  • Ability to negotiate, plan and execute multiple taks and stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to solve problems.
