Job Description

1. Supervision and Leadership: The milling department supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the milling department. They lead a team of milling machine operators and other support staff, providing guidance, direction, and support as needed. 2. Quality Control: The milling department supervisor ensures that all milling processes and products meet the required quality standards. They collaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and address any non-conformities or quality issues. 3. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: The supervisor oversees the maintenance and repair of milling machines and equipment. They work closely with the maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure the availability of machines for uninterrupted production. 4. Safety and Compliance: Safety is a critical aspect of any manufacturing environment. The supervisor is responsible for enforcing safety policies and procedures within the milling department, promoting a safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. 5. Training and Development: The milling department supervisor provides training to new employees and ongoing skill development for the existing team. They identify training needs, conduct training sessions, and mentor employees to enhance their technical skills and overall performance. 6. Continuous Improvement: The supervisor actively participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize milling operations. They analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and achieve cost savings. 7. Communication and Reporting: Effective communication is essential for the smooth functioning of the milling department. The supervisor communicates with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and engineering, to coordinate activities and resolve any issues. They also prepare reports on production metrics, quality performance, and other relevant data to management. Minimum Requirements (Education & Work Experience) \xe2\x80\xa2 SPM, Diploma or relevant preferably with 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in similar line of interest. \xe2\x80\xa2 2 years minimum experience in leadership. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good milling technical background
