MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE :
  • Will be leading 3 major supply chain functions consisting of warehousing, procurement, supply planning, customs & trade compliance.
  • Manage 3PL providers and control to achieve all operational KPIs.
  • Customs and Trade Compliance Coordinator.
  • Will also be managing inventory and pallet utilisation in 3PL
  • This role will be spearheading initiatives to reduce Go to Market lead time hence reducing inventory and supply chain operating cost
  • Owner of material master, inventory and packaging master accuracy in 3PL & Abbott database
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Oversee operations at 3PL-this skilled multitasker will manage receiving, handling storing, picking and packing activities of the warehouse. Ensure that quality standards met as per EPD QA requirement.
  • Monitors incoming shipments and liaise with distribution center/manufacturing source to ensures all documentations are in place for timely clearance of goods.
  • Ensures that all in-coming shipments are updated into BPCS within 24 hours of receiving.
  • Review warehouse pallet utilisation in daily basis and highlight if there is any issue to ensure warehouse operates at peak efficiency. Manage Third Party Repacking and value-added activities to support marketing activities and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Raise PO for 3rd party manufacturer products & products sourced from Abbott Cimanggis plant.
  • Coordinate with 3PL distribution team to ensure order deliver as per planned and achieve mandatory annual customer service KPI from Division.
  • Manage Inventory Daily Accuracy through reconciliation of 3PL inventory vs Abbott\xe2\x80\x99s book inventory and cycle count.
  • Any issue on operational, immediate feedback to 3PL, solve day-to day operational issues and reach performance goals.
  • Visit to warehouse 2 days in a week and meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze space management, productivity, quality assurance, inventory control, logistics and work together with 3PL to develop actionable plans for prevention.
  • In charge to complete the monthly closing stock by checking inventory with 3PL and submit to account for department head approved.
  • Continue improvement on logistic & warehouse operations. Analyze warehouse capacity, service, cost & transactions to optimise efficiency.
  • Prepares the Monthly inventory destruction report for short dated and damaged product and ensures that all relevant approval is received before destruction of product in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory management of packaging materials/hologram for value-add activities and manage re-ordering when necessary. To monitor hologram movement-procurement, usage, reject units records achieved 100% accuracy. Weekly review the report.
  • Customer Service-coordinate order fulfillment with accounting team on credit limit utilization to avoid order on hold.
  • To ensure all supply chain shipping documents are well kept, updated & compliance.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Catapult Supply Chain Module and Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
  • Perform any other matters or ad-hoc task relating to supply chain operations.
3PL Management
  • Coordinate & plan hologram planning/ repacking to 3PL or TPM. Provides updates to Commercial on the shipping status for all in-coming shipments.
  • Report backorders in APO system and also request OCA (Order change Affiliate)-to bring forward/delays the shipment. To highlight in weekly backorders call with Global & APAC Supply Chain.
  • Ensure out of plan issues are communicated in advance using S&OP process to allow business alignment with relevant action points to address the issues
  • File SAP complaint in APO system with 24 hours as per Abbott policy & insurance claims for goods damaged and loss in-transit.
Handles all duties of Customs and Trade Compliance Coordinator:
  • Act as a liaison with Broker to ensure activities are incompliance
  • Manage day to day customs and trade compliance processes and issues e.g. H.S. Code classification, maintaining import and export database, etc.
  • Sampling check on the customs declaration form to ensure all data are accurate.
Quality, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with Manager to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Meet the requirements of Business Excellence by complying with Quality policies and procedures to ensure Quality objectives of business are met.
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Must be systematic & have a deep understanding with picking, packing & putaway strategies and comply with EPD Supply Chain Policy
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures & policies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal communication & able to interact with level of organization across the region.
  • Strong computer knowledge on Microsoft application e.g. excel, power point and word. Knowledge on SAP APO, SNP, MRP & BPCS
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a rapid change environment.
  • Qualifications and experience in warehouse and distribution systems along with materials management.
  • Highly analytical and fact based decision making.
  • At least 10 years experience in inventory and warehouse environment.
  • Able to work independently, think logically, challenge status quo & consistently seek to improve current way of working to seek of productivity.
