Job Overview: * Responsible to produce detail design of Construction Plan (e.g.Civil & Fiber Infrastructure, Bill of Quantity, Material Reservation, Splice Configuration) for Service Orders (Corporate, Enterprise, Wholesale, Special Projects) & Co Job Overview: Responsible to produce detail design of Construction Plan (e.g.Civil & Fiber Infrastructure, Bill of Quantity, Material Reservation, Splice Configuration) for Service Orders (Corporate, Enterprise, Wholesale, Special Projects) & Coverage projects nationwide. Responsible in recommending what type of 'OSP Solution' to be deployed for any Fixed Network projects (such as Corporate, Enterprise, Wholesale, Special projects,Coverage) projects nationwide by putting up justification or producing detailsEngineering cost comparison report. Responsible to prepare the necessary documentation for Fixed Network Engineering project starting with Engineering Design and Costing, Project Scheduling, preparing Appropriation Request (AR), preparing and issuance of Work Order for PR and implementation, material reservation and Hand-Over notes for records and Database Update purposes. Manage and monitor projects as to ensure that each Fixed Network project will NOT EXCEED the Appropriation Request (AR) budget without any proper justification or unnecessarily as well as adhering to the proposed Engineering Design Guidelines. Provide Project Manager with accurate Engineering Design and to ensure the feedback of red-line/as-built drawings upon completion of the works comply with the engineering plan and design. Responsible in supporting all necessary Products, Marketing and Enterprise Dept regarding the requirement for Fixed Network project accomplishment in performing Engineering Detail Design and scheduling of the project. Responsible to verify documents (invoice, Job Acceptance Certificate (JAC), PO copy, CoC & Technical Proposal) for contractor claim submission for related project type. Participate in open PO exercise for Planning & Design Work in order to minimise open PO issues in related area. Liaise with other functional group within the department as well as inter department for project accomplishment or information gathering. Provide technical assistance for Products Management & Coverage Planning and conduct site survey with related parties for new coverage and network expansion. Responsible in managing CAPEX & OPEX spending for Key Projects as per Appropriation Request (AR) budget. Responsible in adhering to instruction and duties given by the supervisor, immediate superior and to ensure its accomplishment as and when required. Your Work Life: To delliver detail design of OSP Construction plan via Work Order submission- To produce tracker and ensure the work order issuance and the supporting deliverables does not exceed the AR approved amount & are issued in a timely manner. CAPEX & OPEX cost saving initiative. To be considered, you'll need: Minimum requirement to competently perform the job, NOT the specifications of the person currently holding the position Bachelor Of Engineering (prefer majoring in Telecommunications Engineering) Minimum 2 years related working experience in Outside Plant Network Design, Data Communication, Networking Telecommunications, Broadband Technology.
