Job Description

We're expanding our kitchen team and looking for passionate pastry talent to bring flavour, finesse, and creativity to our cafe.

Prepare and produce pastries, breads, and desserts following cafe standards Execute daily mise en place and ensure consistent quality in all products Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper storage in the pastry section Monitor stock levels, ensure FIFO usage, and reduce wastage Assist with production planning and smooth kitchen operations Work closely with the head chef to maintain quality and workflow (For CDP / Senior roles): lead juniors, oversee quality control, and ensure consistency

Additional Responsibilities for Head Chef / Senior Position

Develop pastry menus, seasonal items, and product improvements Lead and train pastry team members Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination Ensure food safety compliance and kitchen SOP Control food cost, portioning, and consistency Maintain production schedules to meet daily demand

Job Requirements

Relevant experience in pastry, bakery, or hot kitchen Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry fundamentals Able to work 5 days/week, 9 hours/day Good teamwork, discipline, and time management Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment CDP: at least 1-3 years experience Senior/Head Chef: strong experience + leadership capability

RM 4,000 - RM 6,000 (depending on experience & role level)
