JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Job Function

\xe2\x80\x8bThis position is acting as the key primary contact for all Plant IT-related matters, ensuring delivery and support of all BTS (Business & Technology Services) IT solutions used at the plant. This position could also manage Plan Build Run employees for specified applications under BTS Plant IT ownership.

Core Job Responsibilities
Provides oversight and management of the following core job responsibilities as follows:

• Acts as key point of contact for all IT matters at the Plant.
• Lead the day-to-day activities of a team of IT professionals to ensure that the organization\xe2\x80\x99s information systems and hardware resources function reliably. Establishes strong cooperation with other business plant functions like, Admin, Engineers, Labs, and others.
• Communicate with system users to identify and resolve user problems. Updates and maintains portfolio of applications under BTS Plant IT ownership.
• Provide support/enhancement for all applications under BTS Plant IT Ownership Assists with the preparation and monitoring of corresponding IT budgets.
• Supports / delivers IT solutions, whether application and/or infrastructure in coordination with BTS products and services.
• Executes requirements of business users in the delivery of pristine IT solutions. Acts as key communication point for all BTS and Division IT matters at the site. Provides regular feedback on status to request initiator (BRM).
• Escalates if provider is unable to meet demand.
• Stays current with industry advancements and direction of domains supported.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

5 direct reports.

Position Accountability & Scope

• Manages and develops the IT Plant team.
• Works collaboratively across all businesses areas to understand requirements and ability to leverage current solutions when appropriate.
• Maintains effective relationships with all levels of management at the site.
• Is the IT steward of the IT portfolio at the site.
• Maintains and administers the application inventory for all applications under the Plant IT ownership.

Minimum Education/Experience/Training

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or equivalent - MBA preferred
• Work Experience \xe2\x80\x93 At least 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably in the health care industry with Manufacturing experience.
• Problem determination (experience in root cause analysis) and problem resolution skills
• Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and culture
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills. Must be a strong team player to support IT\xe2\x80\x99s efforts and goals within the site. Must be able to work with all levels of management.
• Project management experience.
• Technical and Analytical Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Able to detect, understand and solve all kinds of IT- related problems. Detailed knowledge of standard computing environments (Business Systems, Windows, Office communication, ERP, LAN/WAN, network and system security).
• Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to communicate at multiple levels, internally and externally.
• Language Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Fluency in English and one local language is essential.
• Additional languages it\xe2\x80\x99s a plus.
