To gather market info on new or developing global products.
Responsible to coordinate with approved suppliers to develop new and/or existing products.
Develop innovative, creative, unique and accurate recipes that can be practically implemented effectively and efficiently in the restaurant.
Develop standard processes and procedures (SOP) for new and current products.
To plan, organise, lead and control the gathering of feedback of food tasting and surveys and continuously follow up till product launch.
To monitor quality and sensory evaluation and feedback to management on the results.
To provide technical solution and troubleshooting throughout R&D process.
To ensure the R&D activities are compliance with the company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), food safety standards and halal standards.
To monitor, evaluate and ensure quality of new and current samples and ingredients used according to company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), food safety standards and halal standards.
Conduct training to Operations and Training team. Proactively assist to improve standards.
JOB REQUIREMENT
At least a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Those with Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Culinary, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent are highly welcomed.
Must be sales driven and objective achiever
Great commercial awareness and outstanding interpersonal attitude
Excellent organizing and leadership qualities
Candidates are required to have driving license and possess own transport
