The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling guest reservations, ensuring smooth booking processes, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel services.
Confirm, modify, and cancel reservations as requested by guests.
Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest preferences in the system.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth check-in and check-out.
Assist in promoting hotel packages, upselling room types, and services when appropriate.
Prepare daily reports on reservations, cancellations, and occupancy trends.
Requirements:
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in reservations or front office, preferably in the hotel industry.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
