Restaurant Manager (japanese Restaurant)

Job Description


  • At least 3 years of F&B experience at supervisory level and experience at Japanese restaurant.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of beverages, F&B operation, and management.
  • Must have the ability and motivation to create and establish effective standards for all beverage services and presentation
  • Must be a good trainer with good training skills and leadership with a pro-active and positive attitude to work and demonstrate flexibility
  • Minimum High School graduate, preferred completed technical education in Hospitality or Culinary School or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Recruiting, training and supervising service crews on the floor for food and beverages.
  • Responsible for the management and achievement of profit for all food and beverage operations in the restaurants.
  • Adhere to local regulations concerning licenses, health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards
  • Creating & organize staffing rotas.
  • Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
  • Taking reservations.
  • Familiar with POS system
  • Greeting and advising customers.
  • Problem-solving.
  • Preparing and presenting staffing & sales reports.
  • Assessing and improving profitability.
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
