We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to play a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This position is responsible for managing accounting processes, preparing financial reports, supporting compliance, and mentoring junior finance staff. Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations
Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset accounting functions
Review, post, and reconcile journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
Prepare and submit statutory tax filings (SST, corporate tax, withholding tax) accurately and on time
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and compliance
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Ensure timely month-end and year-end account closings
Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide actionable insights
Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning
Leadership & Staff Development
Mentor, guide, and review work of junior finance team members
Assign and coordinate tasks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency
Provide training and support to enhance team capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support Finance Manager in strategic initiatives, ad-hoc projects, and process improvement efforts
Collaborate with other departments on cost control, project evaluation, and operational efficiency
Assist with financial system upgrades, implementations, and process enhancements
Requirements:
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH)
Experience with accounting or ERP software (e.g., SQL-based systems)
Prior experience in multi-company or cross-border financial operations is a plus
