Job description - Senior Account Executive

We are looking for a Senior Account with at least 5 years of working experience to assist the Finance Manager on all account matters, among them

(1) handle day-to-day account operations of the company, including bookkeeping, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

(2) prepare full set of account, bank reconciliation, debtors and creditors statement

(3) deal with auditors on all account and tax matters

While not requiring the person to be a professional qualified accountant or specialist in accounting sector, the person should have at least a degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field. Knowledge of accounting software especially Autocount will be a strong plus point, forex transaction will be a plus

While technical knowledge is important, we are even more concern with the personality of the candidate. As a dynamic and forward-looking company, we seek a person who would like to learn new things all the times and set new challenges and targets for him/herself. While guidance and support as well as internal and external training will be provided, we expect the person to be pro-active and highly motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

Maintain and update accounting records and files. Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Finance:

Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities. Monitor financial transactions and reports. Conduct financial analysis to support business planning. Maintain financial data integrity and confidentiality. Support in forecasting and variance analysis.

Reporting & Compliance:

Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission. Assist in audits and implement audit recommendations. Ensure compliance with local financial laws, regulations, and standards. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.

Key Requirements

At least 5 years working experience in the accounting, finance, or banking related area Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related fields. We will also consider other degree holder or relevant professional qualification if the candidate shows strong capability and willingness to learn new things Well versed with financial statements and strong analytical skills. Familiar with accounting software especially Autocount. Ability to work Independently as well as to lead a team when necessary.

Plus Points

Experience in Building Materials, Property, Construction or Home Renovation industries. Proficiency in Mandarin language will be an advantage due to the need to communicate with business associates and suppliers in China from time to time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
