POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To ensure the Aviation Security operations at the airport is managed effectively, efficiently and
secure.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Maintain oversight in the implementation of aviation security measures that are shared with appropriate stakeholders for airport operations
• Ensure the Aviation Security operation at airports is managed consistently with Annex 17\'s provisions, regulations outlined by CAAM and others regulatory requirement in ensure high level of security in airport operation.
• Monitor and ensure equipment and facilities under BHS ARP project are adequate to fulfil the airport security operational requirements
• Prepare statistics, emergency or any other security-related incident reports and prepares comprehensive reports (if required) before submitting to BHS Project Control Senior Manager
• Identify the corrective actions for all non-conformance issues raised by relevant parties on the BHS ARP are taken and resolved promptly
• To represent COKUL ARP BHS with internal & external stakeholders when required by management.
• To maintain close relationship and coordination with Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and relevant government departments/agencies at airport level.
• To coordinate with Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on others regulatory requirement in ensuring high level of security in airport operations.
• To coommunicate and coordinate with AVSEC teams at airport level in enuring high level of scurity in ARP ARP and airport operations
• To carry out other duties or functions as and when directed by Project Control Senior Manager of ARP BHS management

Key Challenges

• To ensure all outstanding issues raised by any Internal Audit, DCA Audit, relevant ISO Audit and ICAO\'s report to be resolved.
• To ensure the Aviation Security operations at the airport is managed effectively and efficiently and secure.
• To safeguard international civil aviation against of act unlawful interference

Relevant Industries

Internal

• Recognized Bachelor\'s Degree in Airport Operations Management or any related discipline with a minimum of
• two (2) years relevant working experience in Executive role OR
• Diploma in Airport Operations Management or any related discipline with a minimum of three (3)
• years relevant working experience in Executive role OR
• Certificate/STPM with a minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience in Executive role
• SPM with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant working experience in Executive role

External

• Recognized Bachelor\'s Degree in Airport Operations Management or any related discipline with CGPA of \xe2\x89\xa5 3.0 and 3 years relevant working experience
• Relevant experience in Baggage Handling System (BHS) is an added advantage.

Education

Internal

• Recognized Bachelor\'s Degree in Airport Operations Management or any discipline.
• Diploma in Airport Operation management or any discipline
• Certificate/STPM
• SPM

External

• Recognized Bachelor\'s Degree in Airport Operations Management or any discipline

Unique Requirement

• Has successful completed or attended at least any three (3) of relevant ICAO AVSEC training packages i.e. ASTP Supervisor; ASTP Instructor; ASTP Crisis Management; ASTP Cargo; ASTP AVSEC Management; ASTP Quality Control; ASTP National Auditor.
