Job Description

Job Summary:

• Manage overall supply chain reengineering and optimization initiatives to enhance customer service, improve productivity and reduce costs. This includes warehouse technology, material handling, layout, storage, and customer delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in change management and communication process of continuous improvement initiatives/programs within business, support management\'s and cross functional decisions.
• Assist in the execution of various continuous improvement transformation events and projects targeted towards improving business operational excellence and performance.
• Manage alignment of business resources in order to drive operational high performance in achieving business objectives.
• Review reports of continuous improvement activities including status/work plan, accomplishments, participation and anticipated needs and propose tactical countermeasures to stakeholders
• Develop and review industrial engineering tools, methodologies and standards for continuous improvement of Supply Chain function
• Manage the new/upgrading of existing distribution centers including supply chain network design studies, business case preparation, costing and project management of distribution center construction.
• Redesign warehouse layout, sizing, materials storage and handling systems to optimize intra-warehouse processes and material flows.
• Evaluate and investigate all variances regarding supply chain key performance indicators to recommend performance standards.
• Implement standardized 5S, OHE and good distribution practices and concepts for supply chain reengineering and optimization
• Responsible to manage continuous improvement projects across all areas in supply chain to increase efficiency/productivity and reduce unit cost in all stages of distribution.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or other related studies.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in Supply Chain management and Operations.
• Experienced with Supply Chain Project Management is an added advantage.
• Experience in managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules is preferred (MM, WM or EWM)
• Strong planning, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills in managing multiple projects and teams.
• Autonomous, a self-starter who can manage own time as well as influence, encourage and drive projects.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
