KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Stay abreast of current industry trends and emerging technologies, enabling the identification of innovative solutions for learning and development.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate learning technologies to effectively integrate into current learning solutions (both technical and non-technical) to enhance learning experience.
  • Prioritize the user experience to ensure that the chosen technologies are user-friendly and accessible to increase engagement and learning effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with content owners and subject matter experts to co-create engaging and interactive e-learning content.
  • Advise seamless integration of VR, multimedia, simulation, and other interactive features into the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align learning technology initiatives with organizational objectives i.e. digitalization, sustainability, data analytic, etc.
  • Analyze data such as capability heatmap, IDP, competency database, and others to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with ICT to conduct workshop to enhance staff\'s digital literacy.
  • Drive collaboration with SMEs to deliver in-house integrated programs through learning technologies integration.
  • Develop course curriculum and training materials, customize a variety of learning solutions.
  • Drive collaboration with external education organizations to develop and deliver future talents.
  • Drive key stakeholders and SMEs to develop learning needs and provide regular management reports as required.
  • Establish training contracts as required and ensure the training contracts complied with the company procurement and contract policy and procedures.
  • Co-drive safety agenda for the Learning Centre (office, classroom, workshops, etc)
  • Drive change management culture within the Learning Centre to nurture winning behaviors in support of our core values towards building Sarawak Energy into a great place to work.
  • All other duties requested by the Head of Learning & Development.
THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:
  • Stay abreast of new tools, platforms, and methodologies to ensure they are leveraging the most effective and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of stakeholders to foster positive attitude towards technology adoption.
  • Effectively manage change, communicate the benefits of technology adoption, and provide the necessary support to facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Keep updated and review the evolving competencies and skillsets needed by businesses at regular intervals of 2-3 years.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Relevant experience of at least 6-8 years expertise & experience in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning technologies and learning trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure to multiple operating environments, and/or change management would be an added advantage.
Preference will be given to internal candidate.
