Job Description

Our client is a reputable company in the financial services industry. In order to support the company\'s rapid growth and continuous improvement, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Senior Manager, Legal.

Job Responsibilities

• Review, vet and draft commercial contracts and legal documents, including supporting negotiations of commercial contracts for the Group.
• Oversee and manage potential legal disputes and litigation (includes monitoring progress of litigation cases) in partnership with external legal counsels.
• Provide advice and make recommendations on all legal matters to all relevant business units in the Group.
• Lead and guide the Legal Team of 4 members in their daily responsibilities to the Group as well as looking into other improvement initiatives for the team and organization.
• Liaise with business functions and provide general legal support and sound advice to mitigate legal risks.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Law with at least 7 to 10 years PQE.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Good judgment problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Min. 1 to 3 years of working experience in the financial services industry and/or with Public Listed Companies.
• Experience in litigation, drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, financial services/insurance services related contracts.
• Drive change initiatives with limited resources and roll-up your sleeves attitude to achieve desired results.
• Demonstrated success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating partnerships at all levels within the organization to achieve results.
