Job Description

Job objectives:

  • As part of the Sales & Marketing Excellence team, job objective is to oversee and lead development, implementation and monitoring of sales and marketing capability development framework, plans, training, processes, tools and systems, etc., to drive sales and marketing excellence. Increasing sales force effectiveness and productivity.
Business metrics:
  • SFE productivity and execution metrics
  • Managing operating departmental budgets and costs
  • Accountable for net sales/EBIT/headcount responsibility, where applicable.
Job responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing capability development framework to govern all employee development activities
  • Oversee the development, execution and monitoring of capability development plans and initiatives to drive sales and marketing excellence
  • Lead development and implementation of processes, tools and systems to support capability development activities
  • Establish selection or hiring criteria for sales and marketing trainers (internal/external). Create a platform for continuous up-skilling to ensure the execution of quality training programs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to increase sales and marketing competencies, including delivery of training modules
  • Oversee the monitoring of post-development outcomes (e.g. competency gaps closed, application of skills, etc.) and fine-tune development plans to ensure training return on investment
  • Develop a structured approach in measuring effectiveness of the sales and marketing framework, plans, training, processes, tools and systems, etc. Lead improvement initiatives on learning platforms
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to anticipate their development needs and customize development solutions that will increase their competency levels
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors to ensure sustainability of provided services
  • Portfolio optimization evaluation to support client\'s sales growth and improving EBIT for dept.
  • Provide data analytics to support key decisions on FTE, HC and any other resource allocation activities
Leadership responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee team\xe2\x80\x99s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Sales and Marketing Excellence and Company behavior to achieve team/function goals
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Sales and Marketing Excellence and Company behavior as part of continuous learning
Job requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role in a Senior Manager or Manager level.
  • Corporate sales experience in consumer health and working with OTC and chain pharmacies.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration/ Management/Marketing or related field
  • Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English.
