Objectives of the Position

  • Lead the team to deliver all C&B topics to the service recipients and coordinate the related governance implementation within the region
  • Act as expert for all HR M&A activities in the region - from project kickoff through due diligence and integration. He/she will work in a team environment, will act as HR point of contact for the regional M&A/Integration team and will lead HR M&A and divestiture activities
  • Contribute to the development of the team, and participate global C&B communities for knowledge exchange and support the development / revamp of C&B initiatives
  • Be the regional contact for HR risk management and regional officer for labor standard
Main Tasks
  • Supervise the team to complete major annual cycles including performance management, annual salary review, insured benefits renewal, internal & external compensation & benefits surveys, internal employee engagement survey, etc. from vendor management, data preparation and analysis to expert recommendation and management approval, etc. where appropriate.
  • Arrange resources and lead the team to provide service in ad hoc HR M&A activities (from due diligence, negotiation support, closing readiness execution to integration, etc.), projects, unplanned C&B service demands (e.g. job evaluation requests, incentives scheme design & review, etc.)
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders in global community to share, develop & retain knowledge of C&B / HR M&A expertise, optimize resources, review and improve process, shape the R&R in defined/ changing service & operational models
  • Collaborate with diverse HR stakeholders (country HR, business HR, hub HR service team, etc.) to drive the implementation of global C&B policy changes / new initiatives in all countries in the region
  • Be the Regional ILSS (International Labor & Social Standard) Officer to carry out the necessary governance requirements to support the compliance to the defined standard
  • Partner with corporate risk management to collect and report people risks in the region and prepare for mitigation measures
Requirements
  • Holder of Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 12 years or above HR experience with at least 6 years hands on experience in leading core C&B topics including design of pay structure & incentive scheme, insured benefits. Additional experience in diverse HR areas e.g. job evaluation, performance management, organizational development, employee engagement, employee development, HR M&A a plus.
  • 3 years leadership experience in developing and organizing a regional CoE team
  • Experience in global organization and MNC environment, process knowledge of multiple countries and ability to comprehend diversity of the region
  • Good understanding of characteristics of the local labor laws and local labor market culture of APAC countries
  • High organizational awareness with strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical skillset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
