Client: A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities during EPCIC Bidding:

• Assist with technical bid clarifications and assess technical proposals from EPCIC bidders regarding Mechanical Construction works.

• Manage and supervise EPCIC Contractor and his Subcontractors on Mechanical
• Construction works, such as Mechanical Equipment Packages (Static & Rotating) and Pressure Vessels Installation, Hook-up, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning works, of the Offshore Central Processing Platform (CPP), to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of the construction works.
• Point of contact for all Mechanical Construction processes, schedules and work sequences, method statements, shop drawings, lifting plans, and other documentation prepared by EPCIC Contractor and his Subcontractors.
• Point of contact for ensuring the quality of construction work conducted by the EPCIC Contractor and his Subcontractors in accordance with the COMPANY\'s specifications and engineering requirements.
• Focal point to resolve all technical and quality issues arise at worksite(s) regarding Mechanical Construction works.
• Create and promoted positive Safety, Security, Environment and Health (SSHE) culture awareness among COMPANY Project team, EPCIC Contractor and all Subcontractor teams.
• Assist the Construction Manager in expediting and closely monitoring the progress of construction work, including analysing root causes and providing mitigations/solutions in the event of a delay.
• Assist the COMPANY Engineering team in reviewing all Detailed Engineering and Vendor papers pertaining to Mechanical Packages, as well as attending essential workshops during Detailed Engineering and meetings/FAT at Vendor workshops.

• Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Masters degree in civil is advantage but not necessary.
• A minimum of 15 years direct experience in Offshore Platform Mechanical Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning works, as well as experience in CPP EPC/EPCI/EPCIC Construction projects is required.
• Work experience on both the client side (with major O&G companies) and the EPC Contractor side
• Professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations is an advantage but not necessary.
