Job Description


  • Diploma in Marketing, communication, administration, or any related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience preferably in FMCG sector, particularly in managing distributors and leading sales forces, promoters or merchandisers.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English. Proficient in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High-level communication skills and proven ability to negotiate. 6. Extrovert and able to speak in public.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors within the assigned territory. Build strong, collaborative relationships with distributors to ensure effective channel management.
  • Continuously in distribution expansion mode.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the general trade segment, Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Building and retaining healthy business relations with existing customers and distributors.
  • Expand the distribution network by identifying potential areas for growth and new business opportunities.
  • Feedback distributors and customers performance and corrective improvement actions periodically.
  • Hands on distributors operations matters including but not limit to salesman & delivery route plan, active customer listing, all time stock holding, sell in matrix, channel matrix, drop size by outlet type, claims submission etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and launch new products or promotions tailored for the general trade.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance against targets, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess product visibility, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Provide training and support to distributors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by distributors in a timely manner.
  • Strong understanding of the general trade market and distribution channels.
  • Partner with relevant team in the event of a product recall, execute the plan in professional manner in prioritize brand image and reputation and the same time minimize company monetary loses and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.
