One of the industrial laser technology manufacturing company are looking for a role of Service Engineer which is based within Penang region. This role will require to deal with clients on the after sales service. Reports directly to the Service/Operation Manager. The suitable candidate shall have a background from the semiconductor, electronic and automation industry.

This role will require to deal with clients on the after sales service. Reports directly to the Service/Operation Manager. The suitable candidate shall have a background from the semiconductor, electronic and automation industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible to carry out preventative servicing and machinery/equipment repairs.
• Carry out service training for customers and advise on the required repair point.
• Identify the spare parts required to be changed and advise client for the order process.
• Carry out customer installation with security instruction implementation.
• Provide servicing check list, actualize and adapt it.
• Advise and consult customers on the technical improvement and innovations.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma/Degree of Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering or equivalent
• 3 years' experience in CNC machines and automation lines
• Excellent verbal and written in English communication.
• Good is MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Knowledge in Windows Based Programming (QuickFlow, TruControl)
