The SSD team is responsible for all infrastructure and security delivery. The SSD team is the gatekeeper / interface between the BD internal Business Relationship Management, Businesses, Functions, IT Global Infrastructure Towers and the Suppliers / Vendors servicing BD with IT services, operations, and technical project execution. The SSD team owns related Project Management, Project Execution, Communications Management as well as Risk and Issue Management. Site Service Delivery Manager/Specialist is interfacing with, IT (TSG) Business Partners, BD IT SMEs and Global IT Tower Peers to conduct assessments, design and planning of technical aspects for small, medium and large Business Projects in close relationship with BD IT suppliers. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this role is to actively partner with the BD leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and TGS teams to understand strategic priorities and complete the associated work deliverables/projects to advance those objectives. Primary responsibilities will include: Develop a deep knowledge of business functions within BD, including key driver goals, short- and long-term roadmaps, key projects, and personnel Act as an interface between TGS Business Partners, BD Business Stakeholders, Global Infrastructure, Change Management, Technology Support Teams both internal and external vendors Ensure communication of change implementations and service impacts Provide an escalation point for when service levels are missed or at risk and coordinate resolution of issues with infrastructure, change, and support teams Deliver locality specific solutions required by the business with Global Towers alignment Provide program and project management services across all technology towers Partner with the Business Partner team, Business Stakeholders and SMEs to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and provide guidance working with TGS IT Work with other TGS business partner teams and external partner teams to define, document, analyze and prioritize existing and emerging business requirements Complete the projects/improvements/deliverables needed to implement technology, processes, or services to meet Business Stakeholder team requirements including the documentation, testing and implementation Work as key driver to facilitate partner teams to ensure delivery provides the desired outcomes Work with other TGS Business Partners and TGS Core Areas of Delivery to ensure that solutions are not siloed Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts within own technical area to design relatively advanced solutions demonstrates understanding of key business drivers Has a broad and in-depth understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies Serves as an expert within a technical area and educates others on technical issues Draws on best practices and comprehensive technical knowledge to advise internal/external customers Approaches issues from multiple perspectives and collaborates with internal/external customers in generating creative, effective and practical solutions EXPERIENCE At least 8-10 years of experience in IT and 5 years in an IT Operations, Project Management, or other IT Technical Leadership role Proficiency in system development life cycle documentation, testing and release cycle protocols including business requirements documentation, test scenarios/data/execution, cutover, hypercare, project planning and status reporting Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications Experience working in a Multi-National Corporate (MNC) environment Experience working with outsourced providers Savvy in working with geographically distributed team members / virtual collaboration Extensive experience in troubleshooting issues Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills Able to align and work with diverse regional stakeholders Strong humility, listening, creativity, and negotiation skills Knowledgeable about budgeting and finance related topics TECHNICAL SKILLS Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies. Example: SD-WAN Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security Familiarity using Microsoft products, Visio, Project, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Messaging, DNS, Site & Services, Group Policies, Share / Folder permission best practices & security groups Experience with Client Computing environment Working knowledge of cloud compute & storage (e.g. Azure, Oracle, AWS etc) ITIL trained or certified.
