Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations and all kitchen stations
Ensure food preparation meets quality, hygiene, and consistency standards
Supervise and support kitchen staff during service
Manage staff schedules and task allocation
Maintain food presentation and kitchen cleanliness standards
Assist in menu development and recipe improvement
Monitor food quality before service
Control food cost and reduce wastage
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Job Requirements
Minimum
7 years of experience
in a professional kitchen
Previous experience as a
Sous Chef or senior kitchen role
is preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Good leadership and team management skills
Able to work under pressure and during peak hours
Disciplined, responsible, and professional attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Culinary certificate or formal training is an advantage
Preferably staying around Sungai Buloh
No smokers or vapers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
