About our group:Alum Grind Operation (Manufacturing) at Seagate International Johor plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's hard drive products meet the high standards of performance, durability, and reliability that Seagate is known for in the data storage industry. By optimizing surface finishes and refining manufacturing processes, engineers help produce high-precision components which are essential for high-capacity hard disk production. Our dynamic, progressive, and analytical group is committed to delivering exceptional results by providing comprehensive technical support and focusing on process development and enhancement. This commitment ensures that our products consistently exceed specifications and meet the highest quality standards in the industry.About the role - you will:

• Manage all aspects of the production line and supervised manufacturing specialist
• Supervise production line to ensure production targets were met
• Coordinate with AL Grind Operation team toward production line improvements
• Prepare and update shiftily reports on production efficiency and productivity
• Initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes and reduce process or equipment related problem and delay
• Continuously plan to improve work environment methods effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor operation result
• Prepare and implement production schedule to ensure that the required quantity and quality are completed within the scheduled time.
• Ensure that all production outputs are produced in accordance with quality control specifications
• Manpower planning and work with a team member in line with efficiency improvement and wastage reduction to meet the internal RTY target
• Ensure the Alum (AL) Grind Ops department meets the safety requirements and maintains good housekeeping
• Supervise and lead the production teams to meet production targets, improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency, cost, delivery, and discipline of workforce
• Monitor line productivity/ efficiency and to meet schedules on time
• Ensure discipline of manufacturing specialists and monitor absenteeism case
• Monitor line WIP and scrap closely
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Standard Operating Procedures set by the company

About you:

• Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with good team-building skills
• Familiar with the usage of computer applications for data collection and recording (Microsoft Office, SAP Emails, etc.)
• Ability to think ahead, analyze production data and prepare action plans to achieve results
• Quality orientation and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Willing and able to work in 12-hourly day and night shift pattern
• A Diploma holder with at least 2 years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Fresh graduates with Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or any other engineering/technical/scientific fields are welcomed to apply

• Planning and understanding the production schedule and ensuring that the schedule is complied
• People management and leadership of a production/operations team
