About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced

Test Analyst

with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through effective test planning, design, execution, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive

test plans

and

test cases

. Perform

manual and automated testing

across web, mobile, and API platforms. Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using standard defect tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test coverage. Conduct

regression, functional, integration, system

, and

user acceptance testing (UAT)

. Prepare

test reports

, summarize testing results, and provide feedback to stakeholders. Participate in

Agile/Scrum

ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to

testing standards, methodologies

, and

quality assurance best practices

.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology

, or a related discipline. 4-6 years of experience as a

Test Analyst

or

Software Tester

. Strong experience in

manual testing

; exposure to

automation tools

(e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) is an advantage. Proficiency in

test management tools

such as

JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr

. Good understanding of

SDLC

,

STLC

, and

defect life cycle

. Experience in testing

APIs

,

web applications

, and/or

mobile applications

. Familiarity with

SQL

for backend data validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice-to-Have

ISTQB or other software testing certification. Basic knowledge of

automation frameworks

or

CI/CD pipelines

. Experience working in

Agile environments

. Domain experience in

Oil & Gas

,

Energy

, or

Enterprise Applications

is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,900.00 per month
