Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1. Responsible in monitoring and controlling production activities to achieve the daily production operations to enhance yield quality and productivity by meeting department objective / target / KPI's.
2. Planning and execute production schedules to meet orders and stock requirements.
3. Prepared, issue, update, maintain and improve all production related documentation and housekeeping.
4. Work closely with the Maintenance, Process Engineering and QA divisions to resolve quality related issues and focus on continual improvement.
5. Monitor workers discipline is instilled to ensure compliance to production operating system all the times at production premises besides to conduct periodic training for respective subordinates.
6. Responsible and to ensure quality initiatives (5S, Poka Yoke, TPM, TPS), process development, optimization and improvement to production are adhered all the time.
7. Responsible on overseeing all production activities in discipline included effective use of manpower, materials and machines.
8. Prepared to work abnormal and staggered hours in short notice as and when the need arises. And need to inform superior/relevant personnel in event of major problems pertaining to prolonged overtime, rejects, industrial unrest, fire, water shortages etc.
9. Ensure safety / regulatory compliance in all process and undertake it requirement improvement and maintenance.

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification :
Degree in Polymer Science or any related discipline.
Must be able to read and write well in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Experience :
Preferably 1-2 years in working experience in production management of a high volume manufacturing environment.
Experience in supervision is an added advantage.
