Primary Objective:

As a Development Squad member in a Hustler role, to manage product increment delivery challenges in the area of people (development team, external dependencies) and engineering (non-code related dependencies) to ensure squad's user centric and high velocity software development. The goal is to allow coders to focus on code and not ecosystem problems.

As a Chapter member, to establish, evolve and evangelize agile value creation and software delivery best practices i.e. Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup Methodology, Design Sprint
Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in a Build Squad as an Engineering Manager / Technical Scrum Master / Design Sprint Master / Lead Startup Coach to help squad achieve its mission and sprint or iteration goals.
• Manage product increment delivery challenges in the area of people (development team, external dependencies) to ensure squad's user centricity and velocity.
• Manage product increment delivery challenges in the area of engineering (non-code related dependencies, technical impediments) to ensure squad's user centricity and velocity.
• Coach squad on agile delivery best practices towards disciplined self-organisation.
• Mentor new joiners/assignees in the Engineering Management Chapter to scale Engineering Managers in RHB.
• Learn continuously, establish and evolve Engineering Management Chapter domain expertise to set a benchmark in the Group and the industry for the profession.
• Contribute new knowledge to Chapter and the industry in form of talks or articles.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - Engineering/Computer Science/IT or related domains..

- Scrum Professional trainings.Certification is an advantage

At least 3 years in a Technical Scrum Master / Engineering Management / Agile Product Owner / Agile Squad Leadership role for a Software Product.

• Mastery or experience in different agile delivery skills: e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup
• Essential foundation in end-to-end software engineering domain (front end and backend development, mobile app and web technologies, databases, servers and cloud, architectures, continuous integration and deployment) with sound ability to communicate the domain's lingo.
• Advantage: essential foundation in human centred design domain (ux/ui/interaction design, usability) with sound ability to communicate the domain's lingo.
• Ability to apply agile delivery approach according to product development stage context.
• Ability to manage challenges around people dynamics and processes to achieve team goal.
