Direct Search Global is working with a regional renewable energy developer and power producer to fill a vacancy for Marketing & Sales Support Manager at their office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Roles and responsibilities of the incumbent shall be set as follows:

• Collaborate with the sales team to create and maintain sales materials, presentations and proposals
• Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of bid documents and project specific proposals
• Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and brand positioning
• Identify target audiences and devise plans to reach and engage them effectively
• Work closely with different teams to develop and implement marketing strategies for the SEA region
• Manage the production of marketing collaterals and promotional materials
• Support the organization and logistics of external events, conferences and exhibitions
• Manage industry memberships in various jurisdictions
• Produce high quality content such as articles, blog posts, videos infographics and case studies to educate, inform and entertain target audiences
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation
• Uphold brand standards and guidelines in all external communications and marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency and integrity across various channels and touchpoints
• Drive online and email marketing campaigns through integrated approach with CRM system such as Salesforce
• Analytical and able to effectively leverage data to build the brand across all channels that resonate with, and excite prospects and clients
• Know your way around CMS, Google Analytics and other relevant metrics
• Oversee highly capable marketing functions, including digital marketing, branding, strategy & operations to drive integrated strategies aligned with business goals
• Manage the company\xe2\x80\x99s presence on social media platforms, which may include Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram and others. Develop and execute social media campaigns to engage followers, increase brand awareness and drive website traffic
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates and media coverage. Use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness
• Develop unique events strategy, including hosted and sponsored events tied to the growth of the business
• Drive brand awareness by creating cohesive event campaigns
• Collaborate with all departments to create globally integrated campaigns, including paid search campaigns, press releases, stakeholder engagement, events and email campaigns
• Craft compelling messages and content for external communication channels including press releases, media pitches, social media posts, newsletters and website updates
• Draft press releases and other commercial materials
• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms
• Manage a list of external publications and media contacts
• Publish press releases, industry newsletters and company updates on Linkedin, marketing contacts, website and other mediums

The right candidate should possess the following qualities:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and marketing support roles
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in renewable energy or energy industry will have added advantage
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and sales support functions
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• A team player and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Proven organizational and project management capabilities
• Occasional travel within SEA may be required
